Bio
Brenda has helped hundreds of compounding facilities improve compounding quality and safety by assisting with compliance and training. She is involved with numerous pharmacy-related organizations, previously coordinating the APhA Compounding SIG and serving on the boards of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Compounding Foundation. She is a past Chairman of the Board for the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists, a peer reviewer for Pharmacy Technician’s Letter, and a member of the APhA House of Delegates. Brenda began volunteering for USP in 2013 and currently chairs the Compounding Expert Committee.
Impact Story
Compounding compliance is essential to personnel and patient safety. In this industry, what you don’t know can hurt compounding personnel and their patients — many don’t know what they don’t know. I help compounders understand all aspects of the compounding process and ultimately improve their compounding operations.
