Learning Objectives:

At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. List the different types of immunotherapy and its therapeutic agents.
  2. Describe the mechanism of immune checkpoint inhibitors.
  3. Discuss the administration of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy.
  4. Describe the adverse events of high dose interleukin 2 therapy and discharge patient counseling.
  5. List the major advantage and disadvantage of sipuleucel-T therapy.
  6. Describe the administration of talimogene laherparepvec therapy.
  7. Discuss the future of immunotherapy.
