An In Depth Look at Migraines


Learning Objectives:

At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the differences between the types of migraines,
  2. Distinguish the difference between migraines and headaches,
  3. Identify the four phases of a migraine attack,
  4. Identify the two major types of migraines and associated symptoms
  5. Recognize triggers that can provoke a migraine attack,
  6. Recognize the treatment categories, drug classifications and therapeutic effect, and
  7. Describe how the information in this program can be utilized to reduce migraine stigma and improve patient care and outcomes.
