Learning Objectives:
At the end of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the differences between the types of migraines,
- Distinguish the difference between migraines and headaches,
- Identify the four phases of a migraine attack,
- Identify the two major types of migraines and associated symptoms
- Recognize triggers that can provoke a migraine attack,
- Recognize the treatment categories, drug classifications and therapeutic effect, and
- Describe how the information in this program can be utilized to reduce migraine stigma and improve patient care and outcomes.
